Is-it possible to add an animated gif in the email body?

I have seen that on other system, but in here if I add the gif like any other images via medias, it will not animate on the client side. Just the first part of the animation like a simple image. Anyone have done this. Thanks.

When you select the image from the media manager of wp, be sure to add the original and not a resized version. It could work or not, it depends by the email client.
