    Hello,

I’m currently developing my site. Whenever I try to send out a test email, I always receive it, however, whenever I send out the real one, I never receive it.

I’m having the same problem. In the Diagnostic panel the under the Semaphores tab it says:
( WordPress Cron System ENABLED. (it’s ok) )
But under the delivery engine it says this:
( Delivery Engine It seems the cron system is not working. Reload the page to see if this message change.
If inactive or always in “running now” status your blog has a problem: read more here. )
I’m not sure what to do next.

I’ve fixed the problem for me. It was something having to do with my host.

MrBishopM, have you tried running test newsletters?

Did you reload the page? Still the delivery engine is reported as not correctly working?

The test emails have all worked for me. I tried them many of the email accounts and they all went though with the finished newsletter.

I have reloaded the page with no changes.

What is the next thing to try?

Also in this area it says this

    Semaphores

    Name Active since
    Newsletter delivery Not set

    Am I missing something here?

The site the newsletter plugin is installed on is my in house kiosk running on a n iPad that doesn’t get used but maybe a few times a day right now. The kiosk program does refresh and reload the home page every 2 minutes.

My website is hosted on a windows operating server. Does that make a difference and if so what is the next step?

When you press “send” is the email listed as sending? The two numbers near the “sending” word do not change?

In the Diagnostic Panel under the Semaphores and Cron’s Tab when I click the Trigger Button the delivery engine counts down till the next scheduled email.
It looks like it is working.
I have Godaddy for my email so I have the newsletter sending only 100 emails a day.
All test emails work. Sorry, I’m a newb to all this.

Hi, for godaddy you must use their SMTP is things haven’t changed. See this page:

    https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/godaddy-using-smtp-external-server-on-shared-hosting

More the delivery engine, if not triggered enough often by site traffic must be triggered externally. See here:

    https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/plugins/newsletter/newsletter-delivery-engine

(it’s not a Newsletter plugin problem, it’s a PHP “problem”)
