In the HTML code of the newsletter, will this work? I get the feeling this is wrong…. (I’ve put extra spaces in my code so that it doesn’t get converted into simple text….)

    < p>Click here to < a href=”{unsubscription_url}” target=”_blank”>unsubscribe< /a>.< /p>

Yes the code you wrote is correct.

This seems to work, but clicking the unsubscribe link doesn’t actually cause the user to be unsubscribed. The link sends people here: http://baltimorejazz.com/wp-content/plugins/newsletter/do/unsubscription.php?nk=1-e23403581bb737ec37d15d12267d2dba But nothing ends up happening to their subscription.

    Any ideas?

Hi, what is the thank you page I see clicking the link? That link is generated by {unsubscription_url} and that link should bring to the newsletter dedicated page for messages where the unsubscription confirmation messages is shown.

That message should contain the {unsuscription_confirm_url}. all that if you want the unsubscription be made of two passages.

Otherwise you can directly use the {unsuscription_confirm_url} in your emails and the subscriber will be immediately unsubscribed.

    Stefano.
