How long is newsletter being sent

For a test i sent my first newsletter to 4 e-mail addresses.
Since all 4 received the mail i added a few more.

Also those received the e-mail and it showed that 6 out of 4 mails where sent.
I read it can happen when users register for the newsletter while the mail is being sent. But how long is the mail being sent. If all 4 mails are sent, why doesn’t it stop?

And i want to send the same mail again to newly added addresses. Can i make a list, copy the newsletter and set “match all” to the list with new mail addresses.

Will the other mail addresses not get the same mail again?

Probably you added subscribers while the newsletter was still in sending status, and the query that extract batch by batch the subscribers got even the new one.
When a newsletter is in status “sent” nothing else is delivered.

Thank you, i understood that but how long will the status be in “sending” mode?

It stays in sending mode until all contacts have been processes. Then the status is changed to “sent”.
