Hi, I have a custom registration form made with gravity forms. How do I add the newsletter checkbox to a gravity form so users can signup for the newsletter when registering?
    Thanks in advance!

See the plugin “newsletter grabber” it’s actually free on my downloads area, you can try that.

Yes, it is tricky. And I can’t seem to get it to work. Here’s what I’ve got:
A gravity form using the User Registration addon.

The fields on the form: Firstname, Lastname, Username, Email, Password, Notifications (checkbox), and a couple of other miscellaneous fields.

In Grabber, it is “enabled” on both the “General” tab and the “Rules” tab.

On Rules, I have the Subscription indicator mapped to “Notifications” with the value of ‘1’ which is the value when checked.
For email I tried both the auto-mapping and entering the field name.

Unfortunately, when I try to register, it doesn’t retrieve the info. There is info when I refresh the “Last Recorded Form” but it doesn’t actually retrieve anything/enter into the database.

Any ideas on what I need to change to get it to work?

If the grabber is able to grab the form data, if should be able to add the subscription as well.

would you send me a screenshot of the configuraztion (stefano@satollo.net) and the page where the gravity form is installed?

Is this still the recommended methodology for integrating with Gravity Forms? If so, where is the page where the grabber is located so I can use this for my site too?

    Thanks,
    -Brittny
