    The plugin crashes on subscription.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_create_nonce() in /home/jabbler/jabble.jp/openblog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1368

It does, however, send the e-mail successfully. All the links (like “unsubscribe”) also cause the plugin to crash.

My site, where the plugin is located:
    http://www.jabble.jp/openblog/quiz-1

I appreciate any help you might be able to give.

    Thank you!

The error seems due to the file /wp-includes/functions.php on line 1368 not on a newsletter plugin file. Where did you see that error? Opening which panel?

    Stefano.

    Stefano,

Thank you SO much for the quick reply!

Actually, it’s not from a panel. If you put in your e-mail address and click submit, the error appears.

While subscribing from the site to the newsletter? Can you give me the page to make a test? Anyway, Newsletter does not use that wordpress function on frontend, so this is very strange… which version of wordpress are you running?

Since the error is raised from a wordpress file, it seems the wordpress has not completely update…

    Stefano.

    Stefano,

    Thank you again.

Here is the page with the subscription form: http://www.jabble.jp/openblog/quiz-1

I just did a “reinstall” of WordPress 4.1.1, but that did not change anything.

Also, I’m using the Avada theme. I tried using a different theme, but that also didn’t change anything.

I really appreciate your continued help.

Hi, what value did you set on subscription steps for the dedicated Newsletter page? Try to empty that field.

    Stefano.

    Stefano,

It turns out that field was already empty. SO, I tried entering my page and it worked.

I think the “Optional” threw me off.

I wanted to say thank you for your support and I will definitely pay for the paid version if my newsletter gets big enough!

    Thank you so much!

Hi, that field IS optional. If left empty a neutra page is generated. Did you modify the page.php file in the subscription folder?

    Stefano.
