ParticipantDear Stefano, thanks for a great plugin.
My file facebook-extension location (url) is correct.
When i test de url http://www.dianticoaching-gewichtsconsulente.nl/wp-content/extensions/newsletter/facebook/login.phpAll i get is a blank page and a url like this.
(I left out some digits for safety reasons)
How ever, the subscription (sometimes) gets confirmed.
Tested it three times, two confirmed.
What can i do tot correct the problem?
Edit: Enable cURL yes or no has no effect.

KeymasterThe url you get back is generated by facebook and it is correct. It should not generate a blank page, actually!
Remeber you, when testing, should always restart from the from, not reload the page since facebook changes the token every time.

ParticipantRegardless of the browser (or smart phone / computer), the page remains white.
I do not know how to resolved this, this extension is not useful for me.
Fortunately, the rest works perfectly. Thanks for your comment.January 22, 2014 at 10:32 pm #10344Stefano
KeymasterSince I see the welcome email has been delivered to my account, it means the problem is the redirect to the welcome page or some kind of error before the user should be redirected.
The only way to diagnose it, is to have an FTP account so I can modify the extension to track down the problem, testing many time the subscription process.
Let me know if you want me to try that (of course for free!).

ParticipantThis will help more people, but the plugin and yourself. Of course I want to help. Where do you want the FTP data sent to it?

KeymasterSend it to satollo@gmail.com. Actually the extension work on other blogs… I really need to go deeper in the code! 🙂

KeymasterSolved it’s the Facebook All plugin doing things interfering with my extension. Added a protection directly on your site in my extension… GRRR 🙂

ParticipantStefano, corrected the problem on my website . After the update, it still works well. It had to do with two pugins that use the same code from Facebook.
Still happy Stefano, thanks again 😉July 16, 2014 at 2:18 pm #11421Anonymous
InactiveWhere can I download the facebook-extension ?
All I found was a facebook-1.1.0.zip and it only contains the facebook.php.In my installed extensions page the Facebook plug displays ‘not installed’.
I configured everything and it connects to facebook (http://comedyinc.nl/wp-content/extensions/facebook.php) but after giving permissions, nothing happens and there is no subscriber added to the Newsletter database -
