    Hi, have you upgraded from a very old version?

    @Stefano

    No. I downloaded yesterday everything from the website and Newsletter from wordpress plugins directory. One thing that comes into my mind is that i installed and enabled plugins before i’ve installed and enabled the Newsletter itself. Can it be the issue here?

    Hi, other plugin should not affect the saving of a subscriber. Try to enable the logging at debug level (on diagnostic panel) and check the files generated on wp-content/logs/newsletter/ folder (or send them to me at stefano@thenewsletterplugin.com after a couple of saving went wrong. If the log does not report enough information, I’ll ask you if it’s possible to have an admin account so I can debug the saving operation directly.

    Eventually, try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin again.

    Stefano.

    @Stefano,

    Thanks for answer. I disabled and enabled plugins (with Newsletter first) and not it works. Thanks!

    Hi Stefano:

    I am getting the same error after a user submits the subscription button. I will forward along the debug logs if you wouln’t mind taking a look.

    Much appreciated, and thanks.

    Hi Antoine, I don’t remember if it was you to who I replied solving the problem (was the follow up).

    The fix had to do with the database user credentials not having correct permissions to “create”.

    I have this problem. Would it be possible to post the solution here so I can see it/ use it myself?

    Uhm, which fields are you changing? If you chenage the email and use an already registered email tha save will fail, but with a message. Or maybe you can try to force an upgrade on diagnostic panel.
