The home page is ‘static page’, there is no tag attached to it. Even if I put other pages as the static page, it still brings up the ‘content locked’ message from the newsletter feature.
It appears to persist, even with caching plugin deactivated, and newsletter plugin deactivated – also on browsers now without any previous contact to the site (so not likely cached copy).
Very odd, and a bit of a problem since we have paid advertising running.
Update: The problem stops once one particular post is unpublished (latest post show on the home page). Interestingly, that post does not have any content locking code.
Uhm, I can suppose that Newsletter is using the post to detect the if the content should be locked or not… may be the theme does something particular with the wordpress global variables.
I need to check the code… if your theme is free, can you zip it and send it to me?
