ParticipantHi, I purchased the “upgrade” and installed the feed by mail module. It seems to work but when I hit the test link, it tells me the email was succesfully sent but I don’t receive it in my inbox. It works fine when I try the original newsletter module to make and send a test newsletter but I would like to automize the sending of the posts every week or so but cannot see what it will look like. I have set it to enabled “yes” and today as a sending day.
Thank you,

KeymasterHi, just tested on my site the latest version of feed by mail and it works. Have you checked the spam folder? Try to configure the feed by mail choosing a theme, may be it’s missing?

ParticipantYes I have checked the spam folder, not there.
Here, still not receiving my test email even if it tells me it was successfully sent. I have 3 email test adresses (hotmail and pop accounts) none received anything (although I specified the day today and the time so it would happen the next hour). I tested my sending details (sent a test from wordpress) and that worked.November 25, 2013 at 8:56 pm #9915Stefano
KeymasterWould you add my address (satollo@gmail.com) in your test list and try again with a test? If the plugin report “ok” it means the message has been delivered to the mail server. If the mail server blocks it (and we try to find why) the plugin cannot report that kind of problems.

InactiveI have added your address to my list of test subscribers and kicked off a test, as I am seeing this issue as well. Same symptoms Capucine has mentioned.

KeymasterHi Capucine solved the problem, I asked her which was the problem. Probably I didn’t received your test or missed to recognize it.
Would you me to test the module directly in your blog? If so, just send me an administrative access to “stefano@satollo.net”.

ParticipantYes Stefano, problem solved by changing the index.php file you provided me. The problem was quite simple: nothing was being sent with the feed by mail option (when I was testing) while it was all fine with the regular newsletter option. I changed the index.php file and everythin started to work perfectly.

InactiveStefano, I added you. Should have received the email with blog and login information. Let me what I can do to assist.
Thanks!

ParticipantWell I tought the problem was solved but it returned… Weird I know. Last week, the email was sent as set up and the tests were coming in perfectly but now, I’m back to square one. The tests are marked as sent but we don’t receive them!

KeymasterHi Capucine, but do you have the feed by mail official extension or are you testing the demo one?

ParticipantI bought the membership and downloaded the files and installed as explained.

KeymasterHi, have you the latest version of feed by mail extension? If so, with the logs enabled to debug level (on diagnostic panel), after a test you should be able to find a feed-xxxxx.log in the folder wp-content/logs/newsletter/. Can you send it to me?
