Does newsletter automatically subscribe new members?

I searched the documentation high and low, and did not find any explanation of this.

Do I need to run some type of update?
Or are the new members automatically subscribed?

I think I figured it out. “Trigger Delivery Engine” does nothing. To send the newsletter you have to be in the editor.

This is just bad user experience design. And it is inconsistent with rest of the interface which is relatively easy to use.

My advise is to make “Trigger Delivery Engine” actually do what it says: Start sending the selected newsletter to the target group.

With “members” do you mean wodpress registered users? See the wordpress registration integration panel: there you can set the option to subscribe on registration.
