Home Forums Newsletter Plugin Support Did an update alter line spacing?

I have been using this plugin for several years, and very recently, I estimate less than a week ago, surely less than two, I noticed that when using Instasend, the line spacing from the WordPress editor is not carried over into my Newsletter.

In my WordPress editor, hitting return skips a line, and this is important to me for style reasons.

I have never, until recently, had to change the format of my newsletters when bringing them into the Newsletter editor, but now I notice that these returns simply drop to the very next line no differently than a word wrap, and this negatively impacts readability. To resolve it, I need to go into the Newsletter editor and manually enter a new return on each paragraph.

This is obviously something I would rather not do.

Did a recent update cause this? Is there some fix I might apply? Are you aware of this issue and planning to issue a fix?

    Thanks.

Are you talking about spacing between paragraphs in emails?

So it appears in the editor like:

    “Hi

    This is my newsletter content.

    Thanks

    Joe Blogger”

but when previewed/emailed, it goes like this:

    “Hi
    This is my newsletter content.
    Thanks
    Joe Blogger”

    Is that what you’re experiencing?

If so, I think I’m getting the same thing – I have only just started using the plugin and am looking for a way to increase the spacing between paragraphs.

I have just seen this line in the changelog:

    “8.0.2
    Fixed missing icons for WhatsApp
Added the “show_name” option to the form type “minimal”
Added styles for the minimal form mobile view
Forced 0 margins for P tag to make uniform the rendering on Outlook and other clients
Removed default font on text bock”

I’m guessing that the bolded part is what is responsible for the change – is there any way to change this back!? Is it an issue to have some spacing between paragraphs!?

Hi, I have another patch to have a better and uniform layout for the P tags (all other blocks are fully controlled by us, but the P are added (with styles) by the editor and make things more complicated.
