Custom posts in newsletter, in a period of time?

Hello,

I am trying to compose a newsletter using the responsive drag and drop composer. I actually composed it, but I would like that instead of the blog posts, to have another category post, a custom post type (events, as I am using a plugin for events). Is this possible? Where can I find the theme.php of this newsletter to modify it?

Also, I would like to know if it is possible to insert in a newsletter the posts (events) that will happen in the next 10 days. Again, I have the events post type, with date for happening.
