    Hi –

I have a client who has requested that, every time we create and publish a new newsletter using the Newsletter plugin, we also publish a blog post that contains the newsletter content. Their idea is that they can share that blog post out to social media in various ways. Obviously, we would have to make sure that subsequent newsletters did not include those blog posts with past newsletters. We could accomplish that with category filtering.

Is there already a way to do what they want, using functionality that is already built into the Newsletter or Newsletter Premium products?

    Thanks!

Hi, a newsletter is a full html with their own styles, usually a table and not so much responsive. Hence it’s rather complicated to create a post with inside a newsletter, probably it will result in a layout disaster :-).

The newsletter is a generated html-page in a ‘template’ so it must be possible to show the same articles in a same format templated-page on the website.

It wouls work only partially, since the site has its own css possibly changing the layout of the newsletter. The problem is exactly that: a newsletter is a full html page.

Hi Stefano, you are right, the site is using it’s own css, but if you create a template for news-article-(sub)category view you can use your own css-styles. You don’t show the newsletter from the archive but create a newsletter-view by showing the separate articles in the that ‘templateview’ as-if it were that newsletter (I’m just ‘thinking out of the box’).
