ParticipantHello,
I have installed your plugin for my website, and I have an issue with the double Opt In option : no confirmation email are send.
However, if the subscribers are already confirmed (with single opt in), they can receive the newsletter. But in both option (single or double opt in), the subscribers don’t receive the welcome email, even if I try to resend it manualy.The website is hosted on Goddady.
Do you know if this problem come from a wrong configuration of the plugin, or if it’s due to Goddady ?Thanks for your help

KeymasterHave you condifured the godaddy SMTP on main configuration panel? Godaddy let you to send very few email per hours without an SMTP configured, so many email are dropped.

ParticipantI’m doing some test now, I only work with my own email address, so there is no many email send in a hour.

KeymasterGodaddy without their SMTP is totally unreliable while sending emails. Add their SMTP to the plugin.

ParticipantActually, I solved the problem. It was probably due to a bad wordpress installation.

ParticipantI think I am having the same issue. I am also with Godaddy and newly subscribed email addresses, with double opt-in enabled, are not receiving Confirmation and Welcome emails. I have confirmed this with an extra gmail address I have. I believe this was originally working (back around June), but has since stopped.
* I have enabled SMTP following the instructions for Godaddy

KeymasterHi, try to change Newsletter action url on subscripton steps to “blog home url”. Sometime the confirmation link generated hit some (wrong) spam filters. More, doble check youre sending with their SMTP (check if the SMTP is not only configured but enabled).
Godaddy has a so low number of email you can send, which sometime drop email after two or three successful delivery.

ParticipantI got around the issue by changing from double opt-in. After that, I changed my test user to confirmed and clicked send Welcome email, and received it okay first time.

am also having the same issue. But status panel and newsletters are send. Only welcome and activation mails are not received. can you help me

KeymasterThat is a classical proble, of godaddy: some emails are sent some other are not. Ask them if there is still the need to use an specific SMTP.
