    Hi,

is there any possibility to change the HTML-Editor for creating my newsletter-messages?

I don’t want to use tinymce. Perhaps it’s possible to use the WordPress-Editor instead.

Hi the WordPress editor IS tinymce.

The problem with that editor is that I cannot (easly) add table support to that editor and it must be configured in a way to load some specific Newsletter plugins.
So actually I cannot move to that editor.
Lately WordPress is making the internal editor usage more easy, but I have to study the api and understand how I can add the tinymce plugins I need.

    Thanks for your answer.

I want to change / modify the editor, because the handling to insert links or images into the newsletter are not so easy (for my client).

For example you have to know the complete path to the specific image. You can’t choose the images you want to integrate directly in the editor.

That’s the reason why I want to customize…

But over the editor toolbar there should be a button to open the media gallery of wordpress, Is it not working?

I use an older version (2.5.2.6) – a special version with german translation. In this version there is no button for selecting an image with the media library.

I tried the the latest version and I see the button you mean, but I can’t use this version without configure anything new. Is there any other possibility to integrate this button?

You should try to find the code used on later version of Newsletter and add that button… not so simple btw.

    Stefano.
