Adding a file to newsletter or welcome email

I try to give my subscribers a bonus (file in PDF) for their registration, but…
I can’t add a file neither to newsletter nor to welcome email.
Is there any way to do it?

It’s not possible to attach a file, but you can add a link to a file hosted in your site.
