Only problem, that turned out with Versioon 3.0.2 is, that although correctly selected on Main Configuration/Advanced Setting the access for editor does not work (it worke with the lastet edition of version 2.5, no changes or updates made with other plugins.
ist seems, as if the last Update (3.1,3.1.1) caused a very similar problem again. Editors cannot enter den pages “Newsletters” and “Subscribers”, but for example the overview-pages of the plugin (although this access is blocked by another plugin).
Looks for me, as if there was a conflict with the plugin “adminimize”?
Going back to Version 3.0.9 solved the problem for me in the meantime.
The same here with 3.1.0. and WordPress 3.4.1. Editors can’t create emails. I deactivated “Adminimize”. Still the same problem. Access for editors is enabled in the configuration.
We are using Newsletter version 3.3.9 with wordpress version 3.6.1. We would like to make the Newsletter options available for editors. So we have set “Enable access to editors?” to Yes. But when we log in as an Editor there is no Newsletter menu-item in the dashboard. And when we go to the URL http://<site>/wp-admin/admin.php?page=newsletter_emails_index we get the message “Je hebt onvoldoende rechten voor toegang van deze pagina” (in Dutch). Could you look at that please?
