All of a sudden when I test my newsletter by clicking “subscribe” with my email … I receive a 404 error.
But I still receive a confirmation email that I have been signed up in my email.
1. WHY am I not receiving an email telling me to click a link to CONFIRM?? I have double-opt in enabled on my configuration, what’s the problem?
2. When I click unsubscribe or change subscription preferences in the email, again a 404 NOT FOUND error appears. This is odd.
Next issue, how to I know when my Follow-up emails will be sent? From the time someone signs up, and receives confirmation emails, when will they receive the sequence of emails designed in the follow-up section?
Lastly, is there an option whereby I can send only new newsletters to those who haven’t yet received my follow-up sequence? I can’t seem to find any such options.
Also, are there multiple follow-up sequences we can use? It seems like there is only one sequence of a maximum of 10 emails we can use. Thanks, I hope this is working soon but everything seems so complicated.
I just updated the plug in . . . but still 404 error. I even removed the email I used as a subscriber then subscribed again with the same email. 404 error.
Yet I receive an email and this time, the double opt in works, but when I click the confirmation link, I am sent to a 404 error page, even though the hyperlink says “confirmed” so I’m pretty sure it’s been confirmed, because I recieve a confirmation email afterwards.
Still trying to figure out when the follow up emails will be sent. Those haven’t worked out yet.
